Phuket International Hospital was founded in 1982 on the island of Phuket, the location of some of Thailand’s most beautiful beaches with crystal clear waters. In 2016 a new building for Phuket Plastic Surgery Institute (PPSI) was opened.

PPSI has 11 plastic surgeons, 10 operating theaters, 50 single private rooms and it is now one of the largest and most modern plastic surgery centers in Thailand. Patients can choose between a comprehensive range of plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures including breast implants, facelift, eye lift, liposuction, gender change, labial reduction etc.

Overall, this place is AMAZING.

I did much research on Breast Augmentation. At first, I was scared to go to another country but from the moment I contacted them, they put me at ease. expand

They answered all my questions, even the stupid questions. I chose Dr. Sanguan because he is the director of PPSI, a professor, an internationally respected surgeon and only 1 of 2 doctors considered to be the ultimate surgeons for male to female gender reassignment surgery. He is board certified and has been a surgeon for almost 30 years. PPSI is amazing. In Australia, you arrive at 7am and wait all day before someone tells you what’s happening. I arrived in PPSI at 7:30am, had all necessary tests, met Dr. Sanguan and tried on different sizes and shapes. We decided on 300cc round high profile and Dr. Sanguan said “Okay, we operate at 10:30am”. At 9am, I was shown to the most beautiful private room where the nurses prepared me. The Anesthetist came to see me and when she found out I smoked previously, she gave me a nebulizer to make sure my airways were nice and open. Surgery started at 10:30am as promised. I have no pain and no bruising. My breasts look amazing and symmetrical. My follow-up appointment was right on time and the stitches being removed didn’t hurt. Overall, this place is AMAZING. I will never go anywhere else. Dr. Sanguan and the nurses are so caring and the facilities are second to none.

Everything went smoothly and I had not one single problem. I only required 2 meals. Nursing staff were very friendly and always attentive. Dr Sanguan explained everything clearly. Very good english. Didn’t try to hurry me up when trying to decide what size I wanted. Follow up appointment was very good and thorough. In the beginning, I couldn’t decide exactly what size I wanted. I ended up choosing the smaller size, but Dr Sanguan was able to source something in between and it was exactly the perfect size. I am only having some pain in one breast which appears to be some sort of nerve pain. Hopefully it will settle down with time. Everything ran so smoothly. There was no wasted time between procedures. or me, the service was perfect and I wouldn’t want anything to change.
